Val is an Early Childhood Teacher who has worked in ECEC since 1996 in privately managed and community-based services working with children 0-12 years in NSW and QLD. She has worked as an educator, educational leader and director/nominated supervisor. Val’s qualification’s include an Associate Diploma of Social Science, Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Education (with distinction), Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment and she is currently studying towards a Master of Education. She also works for Charles Sturt University with the RIPPLE team on a research project regarding EYLF and babies. She has a proven track record in leadership, leading services to the highest quality standards achieving 100% in the previous NCAC accreditation system and Exceeding in all 7 quality areas of the National Quality Standards.
Val has an excellent understanding of the NQF and is passionate to support ECEC educators and leaders to embrace and enact the framework. She has worked as an early childhood consultant, auditor and trainer for Centre Support since 2010 and is available to support educators and services in the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter region. She is available for one on one consultations with nominated supervisors, educational leaders and owners, for educator workshops customised to meet your services training needs and staff meeting support to promote knowledge and understanding of any aspect of the NQF backed by the reputation and expertise of Centre Support.
