Don’t miss the remaining seminars below:
Topic: Critical Reflection and Environmental Sustainability
Queensland: Presented by Lukas Ritson
Lukas Ritson is the Outdoor Educator at Everton Park Early Childhood Development Centre. He is passionately fulfilling his childhood aspiration of teaching in a very unique and innovative way. He works both alongside and independently from his fellow educators to embed and embrace sustainable practices and behaviours, and draws on his expertise as the owner of a horticultural company which coaches clients to install and maintain organic fruit and vegetable gardens. His experience in outdoor recreation and as a swimming teacher also helps him provide a program that embraces the natural environment in a way that is consistent with the principles and outcomes of the NQS and the EYLF. Lukas is passionate about sharing his program and philosophy and hopes it will become standard practice across all ECEC services in Australia.
