NQS Element Resources ECEC

The National Quality Standard (NQS) provides a framework for assessing and improving the quality of early childhood education and care services in Australia. The NQS is divided into seven quality areas, and each quality area is further broken down into NQS elements. To help early career educators and experienced educators navigate this framework, the resources are listed by NQS element in numerical order. Each element is then broken down into several sections, which provide detailed guidance on how to meet, exceed, and continuously improve the standards. The sections are organised in a logical and easy-to-follow sequence, starting with the basics of meeting the standard and progressing to more advanced topics such as exceeding the standard, policy review, and educational leadership.
