We have created new symbols to guide you and your educators, plus daily activities for you to do. We have also created a new Resource Kit full of great resources and ideas for you to use with your educators in regard to this element.

eg Show me how you document information about each child’s developmental needs, interests, experiences, participation and progress that is shared with families?

Eg Do you have conversations with families about their child and share positive observations? Can you show me an example?

Assess your educators in an informal way and identify how they provide and make information available to all families including those with specific needs eg language needs.

What do your educators understand?

Celebrate with your educators about what they know, put into practice and understand. Work with them to help them implement any improvement they have identified.
