We’re excited to have you join us on your learning journey as you begin your CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care!

Your course begins with cluster 1 … work with families.

The units of competency covered in this cluster are:

  • CHCECE041         Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • CHCECE050         Work in partnership with children’s families
  • CHCECE053         Respond to grievances and complaints about the service
  • CHCPRP003         Reflect on and improve own profession practice.

Assessment submission instructions:

  1. Head to the drop down menu at the top of the page.
  2. Start with ‘Work with families’ and follow the assessment tasks in numerical order
  3. Type your full name into the box at the top of each assessment
  4. Attempt all questions, check your spelling and grammar
  5. Remember to save your work as you go
  6. Tick the save and submit buttons once your assessment is ready for marking
  7. Your trainer will receive and mark your assessment within 7 days
  8. Your mark sheet will be sent to you via email

Loading your most recent progress if its not appearing when you log in. 

  1. When you log back in, look for the list of saved progress sessions
  2. Find the most recent save — check the time stamp to confirm.
  3. Click to highlight that most recent save.
  4. Then select “Load” to open your latest progress.
Note: Your progress may not load automatically — you must manually select and load it each time you log in.

Click on the resources tab at the top of the page to access a variety of documents that may be of use during your course.

This tab also contains some important documents you will need such as your student Log Book and permission forms.
